Personal Healing - Book update.

So as you may have read in my last post, I am reading a book called, "The Magic" (It is the sequel to 'The Secret' and 'The Power'). Since my last post, I have seriously already seen a ton of changes in the life of Melissa.
Recap: Basically the book is a day to day guide to getting your life in a more loving environment and getting you on track to achieving every goal you set out for yourself.

The first two chapters are on how to be grateful for everything you have in your life. One of the idea's is to find a rock and every time you look at this rock, think of the best thing that's happened to you during that day. I love this idea and I have been carrying this rock everywhere I go, trying to push myself to think of a happy moment every day that I can be grateful for.

The next chapter is about healing your relationships, then healing your body and then finally the last chapter I stopped on was about drawing money to you through gratitude. The reason I stopped after that chapter is because I really want to absorb all that I can from this book and I want to make sure that I have really mastered the chapters before moving forward.

A couple of things that I have noticed that have changed so far would be that I have suddenly been given so many opportunities for my career to advance and money is really starting to roll in. My business dolls and I have created a whole new business with an idea completely new and original. My close relationships have gotten ever so sweeter and closer and I can't help but smile when I think of them. My health has gotten way better and I don't even struggle to choose healthy food anymore! I've learnt a lot recently about how bad meat is for you and I've almost fully cut it out of my diet completely.

Finally, I have been receiving love from all over; from people I haven't spoken to in a while, people I barely know, people I don't know at all and from people I know very well. So many people have sent me such loving messages, and gifts and are really supporting me and I honestly feel so happy and grateful for all of you. You have touched my heart in these last 2 weeks and have really turned some dark days into bright ones.

One thing that I just read that I really want to share with you would be this game that Walt Disney apparently created called, "The Glad Game". To play, you basically look for as many things as you can to be glad about, even in a negative situation. It's definitely something you have to push yourself to do, and boy do I know how feeling sad and upset is a disease we all like to stay in when we are mad. But every time you push yourself a little, it gets easier, I promise.

I've been playing the Glad Game with myself for the last hour and honestly I do feel better and I know that it will only do my future good to have me positive in the present.

Hope you guys are having a fabulous week! Happy Saturday! xo

QOTD- "Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so let us all be thankful". - Gautama Buddha
